HOW WOULD YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF?

I’m a sensitive, creative and rollercoaster loving introvert, living an extrovert life as an artist. I love everything small, tiny houses & cars and I enjoy simple living. I can get very excited about the smallest things in life. I enjoy dancing for hours and travel the world, but I also love and need to be at home alone for days and whenever possible in complete silence.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR WORK LIFE AND HOW IT HAS EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS?

The last 20 years I have been working as a model and the last 10 I have been playing music too, as a Dj. I have over the last few years gotten a lot of work around the world as a Dj and have started to prioritize this work and I’m slowly moving away from working as a model.

HAS BECOMING A MOTHER TO NOVA CHANGED YOUR WORK LIFE?

It’s both a yes and a no. Saying no to work has never been easier. I really prioritize my time and I only take in jobs that either pay very well and have good working conditions, or work that I really enjoy to do. I feel exactly the same as before, I’m having the same desire to dance, be creative, play music and travel the world. Dj jobs has better working conditions and this is why I often choose this work. Things like sleeping in a nice hotel makes a big difference these days. 

I’m very lucky to have a partner that is also an artist and not working full time, so he helps me a lot by taking care of Nova and he has been able to often travel with us.

WE LOVE YOUR SUMMERHOUSE, WHAT DOES IT REPRESENT TO YOU? 

This is my favorite place to be. I really enjoy simple things like planting flowers, seeing them grow and the bee’s enjoying them. All of my things there are second hand, mostly from charity shops around Denmark, but also from small markets around the world.

TELL US YOUR THOUGHTS ON SUSTAINABILITY?

It is something I care a lot about and something I use a lot of time on. I sort all of my trash and I make sure that nothing goes to waist, both in regards of food but also of the things I do not use anymore, I donate all my furniture and clothes to charity shops.I try to eat mostly vegetarian food and I’m trying all new vegan products that is coming into the market to find new favorites to make it easier to live this way. I do everthing I can to change my easting habits. I do it for the climate and our planet, but also because I love animals.I’m always taking the train to jobs whenever it’s possible. I don’t use any chemicals in my garden, what often results in bugs and animals eating the vegetables and fruit I try to grow, but it is okay, I’m happy to share. I buy very little clothes and when I do it’s mostly second-hand from charity shops. I also try to support local brands like Ecooking, Aro & Tromborg, mostly made with natural bio products.
